Blood
Donation is among the highest service one can render to humanity. With this thought Spandana Muscat has taken
the initiative to start its blood donation drive.
We
recognize the importance of blood donation campaigns as it not only assures an
adequate supply of blood, but also saves thousands of lives.
All
the humanitarians are invited to take part in this camp in large numbers and
generously donate blood. Your
contribution to the noble cause will be highly appreciated and regarded with
immense gratitude.
For the information of new donors we quote below
the useful text derived from the letter from the Department of Blood Services:
"Blood
Donation is a simple procedure of 15 to 20 minutes' duration. Individuals
between 18 to 60 years of age, enjoying sound mental and physical health, are
fit to donate blood. All would be donors are requested to have their
breakfast/lunch on the day of donation. Light refreshments will be provided
after donation".
As a requirement by the Department of Blood
Services, please remember to bring your Donor Card (if you are already a donor in
Oman) and the new
donors to bring ID/Resident Cards for registration and documentation.
Interested
volunteers are requested to kindly register your name by mailing your details (Name, Telephone
No. and Resident Card No.) to spandanamuscat@gmail.com
